Continuous monitoring and alerting

Automatically generate security alerts and route them to the relevant team on Slack, Jira, Linear, Monday.com, and other endpoints.

Jit’s Workflows

Jit’s Workflows continuously monitor your environment and create alerts or tickets for newly detected security issues, ignored security issues, and resolved security issues. To prevent alert overload, create conditions that specify the risk factors of the security issue, like whether it is in production or internet-facing.

Step 1: Select a Trigger to Kickoff the Workflow

Newly detected security issues
Create a trigger to continuously monitor for newly detected code and cloud security issues.
Ignored security issues
Create a trigger to continuously monitor for code and cloud security issues that are ignored.
Resolved security issues
Create a trigger to continuously monitor for code and cloud security issues that are resolved.

Step 2:Add conditions to narrow the focus of your alerts & tickets

Select Priority Factors to focus on the security issues that introduce real risk
Narrow the scope of alerts based on the runtime context of security issues. For example, use Priority Factors to only alert on security issues that are in production and are internet-facing.
Select Teams to route specific alerts to a given team
Route alerts and tickets to the relevant teams by creating conditions that evaluate team ownership of specific services and resources.
Evaluate conditions by finding or resource
Determine whether the condition should evaluate individual security findings or the resources (code repositories or cloud resources) where many security issues may reside.

Step3:
Choose an Action that sends alerts & tickets to your desired endpoint

Create a ticket in Jira, Linear, Shortcut, or Monday.com
Create Workflows that automatically create tickets that can be managed in Jira, Linear, Shortcut, or Monday.com.
Create a Slack notification
Create Workflows that automatically send notifications to specific Slack channels.
Send an event to a SIEM platform like Splunk
Create Workflows that automatically forward events to SIEM Platforms for analysis.

Manage your Workflows & Verify successful alerting

View the history of each Workflow
View the execution history of Workflows to verify whether alerts and tickets are successfully initiated.
Enable or disable Workflows
Easily enable or disable workflows on the fly as environmental and risk conditions change.
